5:00 and Stock Q1 has just finished. A few cars spun but most appeared to have no issues. The Top 16 courtesy of D3TV.

Super Stock Q2 starts off Saturday with 30 minutes of downtime to clean up an exploded rear axle on the starting line. It requires a full 5 alarm clean up with track personnel, track cleaning Zamboni machine, roll back, jet dryer and power brush tractor.

Stock eliminator finished up it's second and last qualifying run around 1130 this morning. The round appeared to be very uneventful and the track in good condition. It was surprising to see how many cars ran right on or with in several hundredths of their first run yesterday afternoon. Here are the top 16 qualifiers courtesy of the 3 here are the top 16 qualifiers courtesy of the D3TV.

Here are the final Stock Q-Sheets and ladder courtesy of John Nechiporchik.

There is a first round A/S match-up between the cool 65 Corvette of Brett Saurbaugh (still has the IRS) and Paul Carr in the Checkmate Camaro.

They don't utilize the left hand side of the track, so you won't see people in the stands viewable from D3TV.

Here is something I've not seen before - downtime to fix a window in the tower that was at risk of falling out.
We actually had it at one of our events at Virginia Motorsports Park the other year... a door car kicked up a rock in the burnout box and broke a 3rd story window in the tower. Took quite awhile to break out the remainder of the window and clean up all the glass that landed right there at the tunnel/ready line. The first two stories of windows were safety glass, but not some of the 3rd story.

Kind of serves as a reminder for anyone parked out where there's any gravel or debris: Please clean out your wheels wells and rocker panels in the staging lanes! It always amazes me the funny looks I get from people. I clean the car out every time, unless it's Norwalk, Bristol, etc. Any debris in there could end up under your tires when you launch. Sometimes people think a track is bad when they're actually doing it to themselves!
