It's at 183 now; hopefully the NHRA will increase the quota to 200.

My biggest regret of my years of racing was not participating at the "Big Go".

I encourage everyone to do it at least once.

Why? At grade 1 everyone had a chance to enter. Adding more entries at this point only hurt the racers as its that many more people that won't qualify.

When it went to Grade 1 on Wednesday; there were 163 entries which left only 17 available spots. I am quite sure that there were considerably more than 17 cars that wanted to enter; but for whatever reason, were unable to be among the first 17. For the last 2 years, the quota for Stock and Super Stock was 200, why should this year be any different?

With only 1 grade pt they knew they were taking a chance of possibly not getting in. I know the quota has been 200 before but it's also been at 180 several other years. The guys that said it's a money grab by NHRA are exactly right. By opening up another 20 spots you're putting 20 more guys on the outside looking in and making the week that much worse for them too.

My nephew brother and I have raced @ Indy in the past w/ 3 different cars. Donated for the most part, got in the Elim. once and enjoyed the experience. Knew going in that Stock morphed into a checkbook class but wanted to play anyway. Now Indy is completely not feasible for us anymore, we'll keep at it but..........

If they raise the quota Its just a money grab,, If you cant run a second under AT INDY You are wasting time, Indy is THE MOON and they have plenty of Modern Rockets and Space ships entered. No room for and antique model rockets Good Luck to all

The NHRA money machine is missing out on entry fees, especially with no afhs this year.
