I've had this hunch for a while that the collective pool of Stock Eliminator racers is "old". I watched 46 Stockers on D3 TV this morning make their first time run today and recorded the drivers age. The average was 53.8. And of course, it's completely invalid since it's just a subset of the complete field at BG. But A mental scan of the Stocker racers I know makes me think that the average for the entire field would not be that far off.
If there's anybody that watches a full round of Stock - or SS, record the ages and post the average. I headed to the beach ( as in ocean beach). And in the interest of full disclosure, I'm old - and well above the average age stated above.

Patty Hill thank you for posting the pictures it makes it a little easier to be at
home reading instead of being at a race even just to spectate. Mike Delahanty many of us are in that above average age group.

Hi Warren,
No apology necessary. I appreciate the effort that you and your team make to have this broadcast available for all of us that cannot be there. Thanks again. Gary Merrick |

My 2 cents.
Patsy, I love you, thanks for making us feel at "home". Warren thanks for D3TV, I tuned in for this first time and loved it. Jerry will do well in Brad's Duster, it's stupid fast, ran 10.329 several years ago at Gateway, but I will miss seeing the prettiest '62 ever. Bowling Green is a bucket list race. Historic sportsman event and track. Kenny will get mad at me but I love that trailer door. Last edited by Frank Castros; 08-28-2016 at 09:51 AM. |
