Aw, Dwight. C'mon. There's no denying the underlying effort. To win or in the case of Bonneville set a record. In the mean time we hope to have fun so we're not a bunch of uber serious nuts tearing our hair out when we don't win. I knew Moulty. One of the original workers at Bonneville that every old timer knows. He lived in my town. Used to sit and eat Pizza and drink cokes with him and listen to his stories. That was fun.

Have I wanted to go to Bonneville? Sure. I would take a car that I thought I'd have a chance to break a record if I did. I wouldn't take a stock Chevette in hopes of getting in the 200 mph club. But hey, maybe I could sell a lot of my T-shirts..........

Bruce, you are way wrong. Let me ask you, of Dan Fletcher's 98 National event wins.....how many times was he fastest in his class? Very few. If you don't race because you aren't fastest........I call you a wanna be.

The topic. You might want to stay on topic. Oh how fun it was for you to take a second to type, "You're wrong." Felt good? Now then shotgun, tell the boys and girls the difference between a bracket race and a HEADS-UP CATEGORY

Give it up provocateurs.

Read it again, if you are able. I did not type "you're wrong". I typed "you are wrong". See the difference?

How is the Matador Station Wagon doing these days? Maybe you should run it in Pro Mod before you "hammer on" everyone else. Oh....sorry, your Matador would be about 11 seconds too slow.

Bruce, please see who started this thread. Then, please see who high jacked it... you did.

Good for The Big Chief. He does it all himself. PS... I really like Shaun and his Murder Nova....seems to leave straight and in control. Hope they race again.

I sure do agree with you 100% about the fun factor because there is really no money to be made.
