1. you loved the nova. parked it for a BETTER combo
2. your valve job was in mix questioned at indy, which helped the new bull**** rule get pushed through
3. have you poured you head yourself ??

i still love you... but in reality the indexes are a sham, and the tech guys are not allowed to enforce rules

It would also help if NHRA provides the proper and quality measuring equipment, with proper calibration, to the Tech Staff. That would stop a lot of the bitching and questioning during tech. As an example, you cannot use a plastic burrette in the field for tech!!! Get an electronic burrette with a digital readout...they are affordable and NHRA has the budget.

The same goes with dial indicators; it does not take much to disturb the clocking mechanism after they are dropped in the ground. Also, get some borescopes for internal inspections; if they are good for the FAA for inspecting a turbine engine, they should be good for inspecting an engine.

By the way Jack...a very realiable source that is trustworthy, told me that the last reading Travis did on Doug Patrick's controversial cylinder heads, were done with a different burrette and the heads were in the tech area and not taken away.
