"Live" from the Dutch Classic

The rains started as a light sprinkle after Stock C1 finished and SS had finished its Q1 run. The pace slowly increased until it settled into a light drizzle. Cars went in the trailers and the SC cars that had been in the lanes were sent back to their trailers. I left the track close to 2:00 and the rain was beginning to accumulate on the pavement. I just checked the weather in Mohnton and it looks like the rain has stopped. I have no idea if round 2 of Stock class will happen as there's probably an hour of track drying necessary.

Maybe somebody that's still at the track can provide an update.

They just made an announcement that it'll be somewhere around 5pm ish that we'll resume racing - I rather doubt that even if that happens we'll not finish class elims and some of the shootout stuff as other classes will be first and I don't see them running much past seven .

Anyway here are some various photos from the past few days.............And yes, that is me yesterday as I was invited into the announcing deck for a round of SuperStock qualifying - had a blast and will surely do that again .

The rain stopped and they ran a round of index classes, then they ran top dragster and top sportsmen(they had not run yet) and then they pulled the plug.
