We hear this rumor about switching to NHRA every year. It's a D 3 thing....Oldtimers can remember the pop hot rod races held at Martin....

Love to run both places, too bad.
Bristol only has a regular bracket program because of Red Whitmore. Upper management didn't want to deal with it, but lets Red run his DER Racing Series. He's done a great job with it over the years. Shows what a little effort can do.

Zmax is a tax writeoff. It's really sad to have such a nice facility sit there most of the year. They have a ridiculous amount of overhead. It costs too much for them to open the gates, and the rental is so high it's not worth it for outside promoters to make use of it.

Lets vote/set up a pole, on moving the D1 maplegrove date off of memorial date ...The change could help car counts at both races ....( may 12-14 might work ?)

Ken, Why would you want to move this race? It is a constant in Division One and a Great Weekend to race!
