Ed, I believe that it is human nature to lie, cheat and steal to make ones point of view prevail...... I have a belief that this poll is inaccurate as possible because there are no checks and balances to keep people honest....... Just my real world and cynical point of view, Bob

I'm sure Bob was referring to both sides on this issue. Right Bob?

You have to figure there are a few guys with an agenda that could really skew the results with such a relatively small sample. The thing is though, there probably were a few like that on both sides of it, so it balances out.
It appears to be a 50-50 issue now. As I said before, that's a long way from about 6-7 years ago. By the time it becomes official in S/SS, which won't be too much longer, most folks won't pay attention to it , or even care.

Seems the slower class guys think they are at a disadvantage? If you cut a light, and run your number, what is a faster car going to do to you? I probably leave first most of the time. I prefer that, with the "clean tree". Lots of Hemi & 8 second hood scoop cars here in Div4. I don't spot that many cars unless I go to a Div 5 race. If I'm red, shame on me. I don't see NHRA spending money on that anyway, regardless of the vote. It was kind of pointless, wasn't it?

I think the whole thing has been useful, the conversation and the polling itself. It seems like opinion is pretty evenly split.
As a slow car racer though, all I really ask of the guys with the fast cars is Don't wreck! And if you do, please do it well before the finish line, I don't want to join in the action. |

At that point, I'm sure they can get a deal on the one (1) system they will need.
