So I emailed the NMCA powers to be to ask the question about the West offering this class and I copied his response lol .
Bob,

We have no plans to add Stock/Super Stock to our West Series for 2017.

With 12 Champion ship classes in the West Series already we just don’t have room. We have plenty of other classes that a Stock or Super Stock car can fit into.

Such as Quick Street, Nostalgia Street Car, Open Comp, Pro Bracket, etc.

General Manager & National Event Director

Promedia LLC. - NMCA, NMRA, NMCA WEST

None of these classes offer a heads up race throughout Elliminations.
I've also attended the NMCA races held in Fontana and the fact that he says they don't have the room is a joke ... we can't even give away our money to race a Stock or Super Stock car over here .

NMCA contingency process; There will be a contingency form attached to your tech card, each competitor needs to fill out the form which has car number, class, and each contingency sponsor listed. The race needs to check each posting they wish to declare, the tech official will then verify decals for each posting you checked on the form, you and tech official will sign it. Once that is done the form will be kept at tech until the completion of the event. Winners and runners-up will then be checked for product verification per the contingency form filled out during tech in. No other products can be claimed other then the ones marked on the form at the beginning of the event.

As far a schedule goes we do understand the issue with Gainesville but unfortunately they is no other choice, with Bradenton's schedule, NHRA's and ours there only so many weekends to work with. There is no intention on our part to take any cars away from the NHRA D-2 event and we understand that it will have an effect and impact on this class at our event but again no other alternative.

NMCA Announces Stock/Super Stock Combo Class

Santa Ana, Calif. (January 16, 2017) – NMCA is proud to announce the addition of the Stock/Super Stock Combo class to their all-American drag racing line-up. The NMCA Muscle Car Nationals presented by E3 Spark Plugs features a six-race series with contingency and a year-end championship where winners take home a Nitto Tire Diamond Tree Ring. Beginning with the season opener in Bradenton, FL on the weekend of March 9-12, the Stock/Super Stock Combo class racers will become part of the exciting NMCA series.

All Stock and Super Stock combinations from NHRA and IHRA are allowed. However, the NMCA event/tech team has put a twist on the conventional method of how the eliminator is run. These changes will add excitement for spectators and allow far more competitors to join the class and be competitive. For a complete list of rules, please click here.

“We’re excited to add a new class to the NMCA championship series," said Rollie Miller, NMCA General Manager. "We’re glad that we can provide the Stock and Super Stock racers with a quality event in which to race and also give them a decent shot at the Aerospace Components Winner’s Circle and Series Championship!"
