I agree, the price of a 2 car trailer could get me an older ramptruck. I have the enclosed now with a/c and satellite dish I can sleep where the golfcart goes. This is prob. the best solution....

Keith if you do decide to go with the 2 car open trailer I saw Jeff Longhany had posted one for sale on Facebook a while back. He could also give you some insight on traveling with one.

Well I found a Chevy ramp truck only a few miles from me. it's a real rust bucket but I paid scrap price for it. it does have a decent winch, ramp body, and frame, also a 454 and turbo 400 so that's what I was hoping for, something I can work on. it's a 1975 but I plan on putting a newer cab on it. although the sheet metal parts for it are reasonable and available we will see witch route I take. Just like my f-350 superduty diesel I restored last year, I look at it like this, everything will be new when its done, tires, brakes, springs, etc... I see around 6k budget, all my own labor of course.
This should work out well to get both cars to an event, I will just sleep in the trailer.
Also realized I will save toll money when just towing a car on the ramp instead of pulling a trailer.
