I'm reposting an email I got tonight about the upcoming event at Fontana. I'm hoping to see a good turnout for the S/SS portion of the event. Again - considering how many of us have gripes with NHRA and the way sportsman racers have been marginalized I hope people will put their money where there mouth is......literally.

SCEDA 2017 Stock / Super Stock Combo Series

Hi All,

The 2017 racing season is upon us and the first SCEDA race weekend is February 18th & 19th. 2017 is a pivotal season for us to continue having a Stock / Super Stock Combo series in future years. That being the case, we need to get at least 20 cars at each race in 2017 for our category to continue. Please get out help make it a successful season.

I am happy to announce, that we do have a couple of sponsors that have graciously stepped up this season. DNB Engineering & Calvert Racing Suspensions will sponsor the winners prize fund for each of the 10 races this season. Right now the winner is guaranteed $800 at each race. This should give some incentive to racers to get out there and race! Thanks to both companies for your support.

We are looking for additional sponsors to add to the prize fund, as well as, a company to step up and sponsor a Points Championship Series.
If interested, please let me know.

If anyone has any questions, I'll be happy to answer the best I can.

Please get the word out to any and all fellow racers to come out and have a good time with us!
