Default Re: Jay Hullinger Retires

With dragracingonline.com's problematic veracity I wouldn't be taking that as gospel.
That bloviating Burk and his minions thrive on being the "TMZ" of drag racing news.

My personal experience with Mr. Kershaw leads me to doubt he will be a very effectual DD. His communication skills leave a lot to be desired. But again that's just my experience.

As far as Jay Hullinger, I had my issues with how he did or didn't do things at times. There were quite a few times that I had some pretty vociferous and animated conversations with him. But I never felt like I was treated any differently (good or bad) because of it. I doubt most on this forum have any kind of clue as to the demands of Jay's responsibilities. I am sure that past few years were very stressful for Jay working for a ever more imperious NHRA upper management. He should be thanked for his 30 years of service and wished a pleasureable retirement.
