Chuck, Angelo thinks it's a great class. If you are thinking of a 318 you can run L,M, and N.

As an entry level class, I'd say no. Not when you can run N, with no roll bar, no two year belts, no fire jacket, no spec pants.

There are several 78 & 79 Aspen 318 4bbl combos that will run N. Any that have a natural power to weight factor of 14 or greater will fit in the next lower class.
