I'm actually doing my Duster now and utilizing all the pressure points of the chassis, front and rear. Like the guy said, a-bodys are just thin metal and spot welds more or less designed to flex over 100,000 miles of the life of car. Raise the front of your car about 3-4 feet, then drop it, now you know why support is needed out there. Hard as heck to tune a chassis, with it flexing, on a nine inch tire. My 2 cents. Mike
Depending on the level of involvement you're comfortable with a basic bender is fairly inexpensive. The ability to bend tubing properly comes with practice, however there are several brands of software that can really help, I use them and they have really helped me not fill the scrap bin.
