NEW Pure Stockers

Hello all
Been an interesting quarter.
Dad passed away last December and a few racers did too.
Like Stan Welsh.

What has been a good distraction are the number of people contacting about Pure Stock.

Number one conversation has been wanting to run their newer cars in Stock.
All asked a ton of questions.
They wanted more than running Brackets and heard about Pure Stock

These kids (including the older kids like us) buy these cars.
Like we use to do in the 60's and 70's.
They fit perfectly into the concept of Pure Stock.

Problem IHRA is stuck on 2005 and NHRA does not recognize us.

Help is need from this community and Pure Stock advocates.
Need to write and bug these two racing organizations.

But have to be smart about it.
IHRA does not have the bench strength to inspect these cars.
So have to figure that out.
The current Cam Rule is a pain to tech just like in the old days before the open spring and duration rule.

Will write up an idea on another post.
But need to have more communication from everyone.

IHRA is a great organization and unfortunately NHRA just blow them away with car count.

Think if we can open up the Pure Stock rule we can improve car count.
Again need your support.

What is interesting NHRA is allowing the Canadian racers to add Pure Stocker to their races.
So there is some hope there.
