Glad someone else brought this up! I'm building a 396/375 for my 69 and really don't want to spend 600 on a hood and then try to match 20 year old paint if I don't have have to. I noticed the lack of 'Super Sport' being defined in the guide for 69. Has anyone other than Tony had personal experience?

So if I replace the 327 in my 67 camaro with a 350 I need to change to the SS hood? I am sure I have seen 67-68 350 cars running a plain flat hood.
How about vinyl graphics of the fake louvers? Now that I think about it my 67 has SS emblems on the grille and gas cap and I run a 327. I know this stuff use to matter, but now? |
