As of this morning and my report from Amy Adkinson ( still at the SGMP) ...we are headed home after Joe's first round loss to Kevin Riner ....both with fantastic packages, but Riner's was .003 better. Soooo
Left in Stock is Jim Marshall, Daniel Young, and Kevin Helms... LEft in Super Stock is Chad Taylor (who had to run his dad earlier) , David Rampy, and Bob Dennis has a by to the finals. Safety and fun to all! YEah TARHEELS!!!! |

Well Amy Adkinson sent me the video of a plane that landed on the track at SGMP today. NOT a planned event. Apparently the track was in the middle of an oil down. Apparently crew officials tried to stop the plane, but it turned around and took off again! Seriously?? This incident had POSSIBLE CATASTROPHY Written all over it. Thankful thankful no one was injured. Alice

Our journey fromWilmington, NC to GALOT began yesterday morning. It's a LONG drive.......an hour and 30 minutes.

Weather has been goegeous! Eliminations begin tomorrow morning at 10:00 am.
NUmber 1 qualifier in Stock is Jason Line Number 1 qualifier in Super Stock is Lee Truell |
