YEARS ago, there used to be scattershields being sold for Chevrolet engines, that you could bolt a Ford manual transmission to. Lakewood, McCleod, or someone else? Anyone remember these or possibly even have one? One with the Tri-Five Chevrolet bellhousing mounts would be ideal. Thanks, I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

I know that Lakewood did make a 'hydro-formed" bell-housing that bolted to the back of the Chevy V-8 and had a dual bolt pattern for both the Ford Toploader, and with an adapter plate and steel ring, for the Hemi four-speed. The one I had also was drilled for the bell-housing mounts for the Tri-Five Chevrolet. I'm sure there are a few out there, although I wonder if you could get one certified to meet the current SFI-specs.
