Thank you for referring both of these companies. Especially like the MicroBlue coating for additional friction reduction. Having a PLUS SIZE Car can use every bit of parasitic drag reduction possible. I know NASCAR and Sport Cars use a lot of these products and services. NO longer see the dramatic blowing of engines as you did in the 60's and 70's. Which I think kicked in in the 80's. (thank you aero industry). If anyone has a recommendation please forward the information and experience. D |

Hey Dan, Mark Williams does the REM polish but they have their own term for it. I chose to get my pro gears shot peened and lightened. There's a possibility that to much material may be removed with being strengthened and polished. After breaking a set of gears in the middle of a run, I chose to get them peened over polished. But they do both.

![]() This is a video of a 8.8 I just lightened the ring gear, the spool and had the bearings all done in microblue. This isn't a true representation of performance but it spun at that speed for over 2 minutes. |
