The big rain cell arrived early - about 6:15. Not good.

The track is waiting it out ........ but I can't see the possibility of more racing today.

Crazy weather. Sweating your Jr's off yesterday to bundled up today. This is one of the most drastic weather swings I've seen in a long time.

From the D3 Facebook page regarding the schedule for Saturday:

Rain is the winner at day one of the Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser. Tomorrow'a schedule is to be on track at 8 AM to continue qualifying starting with Super Street , Stock, Super Gas, Super Stock, Super Comp then start eliminations. Top Dragster, Top Sportsman, Comp, Pro Stock Snowmobile, Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car will also get two Qualifiers.
