This incident just goes to show if you feel you have been done wrong by NHRA, go immediately to the tower and take proof of their mistake. Yes, the rulebook is clear about accepting the dial in on the scoreboard and it is the racer's responsibility to check the dial in before staging. That being said, it is clear that the new Div 3 Director Jeff Conley saw the mistake was NHRA's fault and made the decision to allow a rerun.

A rerun was, in my opinion, was correct. And with that information and 65 cents it will get you a senior coffee at the golden arches.

Well it is a new day here at BG! It rained a lot last night and they are drying the track. We are already over an hour behind and they are saying another half hour or so! The good news is it looks pretty good til at least 2 or so this afternoon.

It looks to me like both cars exceeded the 10 MPH speed limit. And by a large margin to boot. I guess you really have to get on the binders to get down to 10 MPH at the stripe.☺
