Closest I've ever come to wrecking was in the right lane there. Wheelstood to the left hard. Had to pedal and landed so hard I broke a motor mount and drove the crossmember up into the oil pan. At the time I felt water had been drug up too far on the left side of the right lane but wasn't certain.

Wow hate to see this happen, have they stopped action and looked at the right lane, this many folks having issues in one lane they need to stop and look at it and do something.
Mike Thanks for the great reporting and pics |

It is sooo chilly here in the evening that racers were enjoying sitting around campfires in the pit area....never thought I would see that in Columbus in august....so much for Global Warming.....

This live reporter is no longer "Live" after losing in the second round. But I still have plenty of photos to post and I'll get to those during the day today. A few comments about the race at Columbus. First the weather - which was absolutely spectacular - even with the threat of rain that loomed over the track all day Friday. On Saturday it felt more like a day in early October and not what you would expect for Columbus in August. And like MJ noted above it was actually chilly in the evening and morning. I like the idea of how the new division director adjusted the schedule yesterday to get more eliminations run just in case there was any weather on Sunday.
