Gary, I quit racing in 1974 and had not attended a race since the first year the Motorplex opened. I lived and grew up in Shreveport and moved to Tennessee in 1989. I went to the SportsNationals in 2016 and got to see Greg Stanfield. His dad and I used to keep our cars in the same shop when they moved to Louisiana....Carroll used to do my machine work so. I talked to him about a year ago and was surprised to hear he is still working. I saw and talked to Jim Hale at the SportsNationals this year. I raced him a couple of times when there was a Div 4 Super Stock Circuit....... Good Luck ! Last edited by Milton Gamble; 09-17-2017 at 10:46 PM. Reason: Spelling |
