The rest of us, who worked hard to build an NHRA legal car are good with the current number of classes.

Dan simply question
How many times have you raced Pure Stock in the last 2 years ? Now you want Nhra to allow you pure Stock racers in why Nhra sucks and is a rip off. If less that 1 time you are opinions mean little or nothing on this forum Ihra failed because of racers like you KEN. I’m easy to find at the racetrack But these computer racers stay seated where it’s safe Frank I have 2 cars I work twice as hard as you could

I will just make one post on this:
Dan: convert or buy, up to you its cheaper to just buy the done impalas out there, just search the classifieds, one in d-1 cheap money, throw a class 4 hitch on your bad boy, tranny cooler, get a featherlite open and your done. You can always race the tow pig at the associations that allow it. James you have earned a case of the beer of your choice at the next D-1 event were both at just let me know. My truck used to be a "player" in IHRA, had to adjust it to the nhra just like the rest. I have built and Raced an IHRA Crate motor car, My friend still races it @ ECSSSA races. NHRA has allowed New replacement parts for engine builds. I do not think it is necessary to create new classes as there are so many now. I know to convert the Crate Motor car to NHRA legal would not be difficult.
I am always interested in finding out who actually races and how many events attended from the Members here that complain about EVERYTHING.

I have been racing Pure Stock for last 5 years. As for NHRA you think they suck? Why are you dirging them? They work hard to run a Motor Sport organization. Feel sorry they have to deal with grumpy people like you. IHRA made a very tough business decision. I do not like how and what they did...but they and we have to live with it. Their main reason dropping Sportsman? Too many racers did not support the sport. The indifference killed IHRA Sportsman and NHRA could be next. Especially if they cannot have a profitable business model. This conversation has been discussed on other Threads. Mike Beard put on one of the best independent S/SS programs ever. Made ok profit the first year and promises everyone would be back the next. We did not support him . Few appreciated his monumental effort and organization. GT, CM and PS are part of our sport. Losing a promoter like Mike, IHRA and these classes is a Canary in the Mines. Beware of your opinions as they can bite back. As for my opinions meaning little or nothing on this forum? Maybe you should check how many people have been responding? Despite whether you agree with me or not. If anyone asked for my help I would be right there to help. I have no animosity or anger here. But wow I sure got a pile of it. I just want to race a Pure Stocker and compete against anyone willing to race against me. James bet you $10 you cannot beat me. Remember I am Mr. Pure Stock ! You are right on that Ken. NHRA must have figured it was easier to add the classes than it was to correct the HP factors to get them in line with the older combos. The manufacturers had a hand in that.
