Back in the day, a bunch of us helped a friend install a Moroso 7 quart pan in his '66 390 Fairlane GT. It was a pain in the *** but eventually we got it done. We lowered the car and my buddy put in 7 quarts of oil and we fired it up. No oil pressure. None. We were checking everything for a possible cause and scratching our heads. We decided to look underneath and raised the lift back up. We found the cause. There were 7 quarts of fresh oil on the garage floor. My buddy forgot the drain plug!
