Ok I know I’m slow but almost every stocker I know of or seen race has a transbrake. Why would he be in trouble for running a transbrake in his stocker?

Uh oh... tech guys just got cold chills, they've missed all the trans brakes. Note to self bring trans pan gaskets to sell at next event.

Checking for a transbrake is easy. First see if the car will backup without pushing a button. If it will not backup, look for a wire going to the transmission and trace to its source. That will show the car has a transbrake. Dropping the pan is just the icing on the cake.

I didn't even know anyone still made a transbrake that you had to hold the button in for reverse?
