If you don't have a car that is capable of running .90 under in the heat then it may be an event that you might want to skip until you can be competitive there. Both times that I went I could not qualify. I did have a good time but not being able to actually race was a bummer. In my case the car and combo that I run is factored pretty heavy and I don't think there is a car in the country right now with the combo that I have that can qualify at Indy.

At Indy the stock eliminator qualifying field is 128 out of 180 seems reasonable.
