Well what an Indy!!!! And it’s not over yet!!!
My 2 cents....for what that’s worth....really sad that someone wrecked the Factory Showdown Class!! No matter who! This was to be a class to bring out the best in the manufacturers and subsequent participants. I guess the good will prevail, but who knows? To take 2 races and on the way to a championship and then after the fact to found illegal is an abomination of the class! So what about the points championship and the dollars that come with that??? Call an attorney?!!!?? Anyway, what a great Indy!!! Best of luck to all that remain in competition! Can’t wait until next year!

Did he get in trouble for having the rear link bars adjustable? I wouldn’t think that’d be legal but don’t know all the FSS/XX rules. What if a guy had a dozen bars in his trailer all solid but different lengths.
I saw a few Copo’s with adjustable bars but wasn’t sure what all was allowed. Sorry to derail the thread. Thank you to all who contribute as well. Greatest thread of the year. |

Factory Stock Showdown, Welch is DQ'd from the race, a throttle body violation.
Did he offer to weld it? They should have put Pete Gasko Jr back in.

Woke up 1/2 hour early and could not go back to sleep.......I wonder why?
It should be a fun day. Chris and our grand daughters are coming up to help and watch. I'm looking forward to see the reaction on their faces the first time they experience two fuel cars side by side. The joy at fuel check after round five was ''Way Cool'', high fives, big smiles, and all of us knowing we will be standing and hearing the National Anthem on MONDAY.....MONDAY.....MONDAY. Good luck to all! |

Two violations in the same race, I believe a suspension is reasonable in this case. This is a great class with many new young stars. The integrity of the class is at stake.
