"Live From" Maple Grove - The Dodge Nationals

Good morning everyone, the final day of eliminations is here. Weather will be a carbon copy of yesterday. The sportsman will not be out until 2 rounds of pros. This place was jammed with people yesterday and I expect the same today. This track has a great market for fans and although the weather was looking bad for the first few days it worked out pretty well. I few rigs got stuck, but over all we made it work.

I will be back later today with photos from today's finals.

Yo Ken,
You bring joy to those that can’t make it to the track. Your dedication to provide great information and pictures. Your pictures at the stArting lines are as good as any of the auto image guys. Keep up the good work. Hope to see you in Charlotte but have to get over back surgery first.

Hey Paul, I watched your car all weekend and thought you guys might have added 200 lbs to keep the average down. Now I learned their are more ways to slow a car down. LOLLLL Thanks Joe Fasano

I said the same thing to Kenny after last years Keystone`s win.
Tom is a busy engine builder, and KV is always loaded with work

They have now proven their combination twice and with careful consideration of their personal schedules they can make a run at it in 2019.

Well folks, another one is in books. It started out as rainy and uncertain if we could even get this race completed, but it turn into great weekend with great racing and weather. Hats off and job well done to the Maple Grove crew and Staff, also to NHRA and there fantastic parking crew. I see Dan at many races and he is always upbeat and accommodating as can be getting us parked. When you see Dan and the crew at the track, don't forget to thank them. Its a tough job and is tougher when the weather does not cooperate at Maple Grove.

Congratulations to Shane Oakes and Anothony Bertozzi for there wins and Anthony Fetch and Anthony Bongiovanni for there runner ups. The photos are from today's semi's and finals. I will have more winner shots tomorrow. Thanks all for tuning in.

Tom never tested in the car before Q1 last year, and hasn`t been in it since.
Pretty remarkable, even for a pro.
