Yes, they are not press fit parts, they are snap ring. You can rebuild an entire trans if you know what you are doing and have the parts in a very short time.

Thanks for all the replies, G-Force seems to be the preferred choice.

Gforce drills the inputs and installs the magnet. We also use a special (non standard) Gforce retainer/register. This retainer allows you to screw in the racepak pickup and it aligns with the magnet.
If you dont have a bell or need a BH, talk to Browell. They can tell you how to set it up, ask for Scott, he can tell you exactly how it works, what parts you need and the new machining on the Browell BH makes install of the trans and racepack sensor a breeze if you have the right/matching retainer for the BH. The right parts cost more, but it is worth every dollar. |

They are still doing business but didn't seem too interested in drag racing trans. business at last years PRI show. Will check this year to see if anything has changed, at least hope in so far as to provide replacement parts. Tony Tosto

I bought an input shaft and a billet release bearing retainer for my
DR-4 about two months ago. No problem. I believe that when the input shafts are gone, that's it for them. No sure if the RB retainer will/would be compatible with the newer DR-4 Rev 4. I have not seen a DR - 4 Rev 4, so I am not sure what to look for. I DO know that a DR-4 can not be made into a DR 4 Rev 4; maybe every one knows that, oh well!!!. Terry K |
