Hats off to the "Presidents"!!!
Should be fun!!!
And BTW I think the racers should get to decide what the looser between the President's bets should wear!!!
just sayin.

Long time supporter of the Mid Atlantic .90 Series - VP Race Fuels has stepped up for this event. All winners on both days will receive a $100 Gift Certificate towards VP race fuel (6 total) and all runner-ups will receive a case of VP Racing Oil (6 total) along with 6 random winners throughout the weekend will have the chance to win a case by just buying a tech card. Thanks again to Marc Wesler and VP Racing fuels for the support of this event!!!

Sounds like a good idea Drew and I'm open to any ideas!!

Always welcome to adding more sponsors onto this event!!!

Any questions - Rob Keister 856-332-2851

Talked with Vinny at Numidia and they will put together a $30 T&T on Friday, June 14th from like 10-3:30pm for those who want to get some info at the track incase you've never been there. We may also look into putting a race later on that night as a bonus if we can get sponsor support. If no race happens we are looking at getting a bus to cart racers and family over to Knoebel's amusement park at Night. For those who have never been to Knoebel's it's a FREE admission park and you pay per ride like at a carnival and they have some great rides. www.knoebels.com

On Saturday the 15th we will probably kick things off early (9:30-10) and try to get a few rounds in before Numidia kicks off their bracket program. So for an additional $80.00 you can enter the bracket race at Night and Numidia always guarantees the purse and it's usually $2,000 to win. A racers BBQ will follow the .90 race on Saturday and EVERYONE is invited. Then Sunday we will try to get things started at about the same time since I know a good amount will want to get on the road home. Unlike the .90 Nationals from a few years back their will be no pre-entry since it seemed only the pre-entry people came that weekend as a lot of people were waiting to see what weather looked like.

Still working on sponsors and if anyone has any ideas or sponsors to help out withy the purse please hit me up at Rekeister@aol.com or 856-332-2851

Thanks Drew, really hoping to see a lot of support for this event. I know it can be a tow for some but, we will make it a fun time for everyone and hopefully this becomes a regular event on the schedule. Now, that Numidia has a D1 event I think people now realize how much work the DiMino family have put into the track over the years to make it where it is today. Yes, the hills can be a pain to tow but, it was a 6 round race all the way across for the D1 race in 2018 for the .90 Racers so hopefully we can increase that.

2018 D1 Car Counts
Super Comp: 50
Super Gas - 42
Super Street - 42

The Flyer for the North vs. South Shootout. Thanks to Brad Coryell and Trail Blazin Designs for making this bad boy up.

Right now with a few bracket events popping up for big $$$ I haven't got much interests from the Up North Contingent except Drew's Group from LVD, Jason and the WNYSRA and some guys from NED so here is how this will work:

We are going to split the states, kinda like the bracket finals.

Team North will be racers from:

Northern Pa, North Jersey, Canada, New York, Mass, Conn, RI, Vermont, Maine and Michigan.

Team South Would Be:

Southern Pa, South NJ, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, W. Virginia and Ohio.

How Points will be awarded:
1 point for every round win - a Win nets an additional 5 points, Runner- Up 3 points
2 points if you go Dead-On the Dial and win the round - 8.900. 9.900, 10.900
1 point if you have a .000 light and win the round in eliminations
4 points if you go Dead-On the Dial and have a .000 Light
3 points if you take out the overall champion from the previous season from any of the series attending.
Thinking of some other things.

I believe Jason is also looking to do a Calcutta to beef the purse up.

Here you go boys and girls the North vs. South Trophy to be handed out to the winners each day and the overall points champ per class per day. Thanks to S&W Performance Group for the great design on the N vs S trophies. Hope to see you all out to support this race.

Running daily calcuttas has worked out very well for us in the WNYSRA. In general, we get a 90% participation rate, as it's completely optional, and a fairly low-risk way to increase the purse. The pot goes to the racer that entered and goes the furthest in eliminations (typically the overall race winner).

$20 per calcutta entry has worked out well. Generally, nobody thinks twice about spending another $20, and with the number of cars I'm expecting to be in attendance at this event, this should make for a pot of around $500 for the calcutta winner (typically, we see the finalists of the race splitting the winner and runner-up money, but the winner keeping the calcutta money for themselves as their bonus).

I will be more than happy to coordinate the calcuttas for the various classes at this event, if desired.

Jason

Just to give everyone some insight into the payouts for the event at Numidia. You have seen the payouts on the flyer but, to dive a little more into this. I know some may say “no way you’ll get 50 cars for each eliminator being that it’s Numidia and the tow”. We’ll at last years Lucas Race had 40+ in all three .90 classes.

20 Cars: Winner - $1,000 / RU - $500
28 Cars: Winner - $1,300 / RU - $600
32 Cars: Winner - $1,500 / RU - $650
36 Cars: Winner - $1,750 / RU - $675
40 Cars: Winner - $2,000 / RU - $700
45 Cars: Winner - $2250 / RU - $820
50 Cars: Winner - $2500 / RU $900

For $120 PER DAY!

Also the winner of the overall points in each class for the North vs. South Battle will get an additional $100.
