Gary, I was afraid that someone would beat you to the punch, after you mentioned on here that there were only two left!
Don't know you, but I had friend that ran a U/SA (underdog) car. It was fun when he did well. Good luck! |

Congrats Gary. Merry Christmas. The crowd always enjoys
the awsome smokey front wheel drive burn outs. Happy New Year. ![]()

Thanks Dave and Randy, and I hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas as well. That entry was my gift to myself, and I look forward to getting ready for it once I get back home. However, no more burnouts since Mickey Thompson no longer makes the slicks I use, so I only do dry hops. Eventually I'll have to change my wheels to 15's and start using the 22" slicks they still do make, but I may have to find some more horsepower too, since the taller tire will lower (numerically), my gear ratio. Oh well, that's racing right?
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL, & LET'S GO 2019 NHRA RACING SEASON!!!!

dry hops - - - there is a term hardly used anymore - I like it.

Thanks Ron, and they seem to work too especially at tracks that allow racers to drive around the wet burnout box to keep their tires dry.
