One pit fall may be that classification must be made using the heaviest engine available for year model used. Hence heavier car may make it less desirable for some. They could probably make a good FGT with a supercharged LS in it. You know that might be a lot fun.

Hello All
Bob Bagley ran my 68 Corvette in GT/HA in D1 when he owned it for a couple years. I'll have to ask him if he remembers what weight he ran the car at. I know he added weight, but I didn't think it was that much. Presently it is running SS/HA, but it cannot compete with the FI cars going .3 to .6 faster, by accident. O well it is still a fun car. Just a 1st rd Duck looking for a win. Cal SST 1177 |

I tried to read and understand the SS /GT class from the guide. Maybe someone can help out on this.
