If that's the case I just might switch. My fuel guy had a fallen out with the folks at VP and doesn't get the Q16 anymore. So now it would be easier for me to go the Renegade route.

Is your carb specifically built for Q16?
To maximize gains from Q16, the carb needs to be calibrated for the Q and the higher fuel requirements. I have a Book/BRE 1250 that has been awesome. Best carb I've owned so far over Cubic, APD... |

Yes my carbs are calibrated for the Q16 fuel. Spoke with the Quick Fuel folks the other day and went back over the calibration sheet with them. They recommended going a little richer with the intermediate bleed and the high speed. Mostly the high speed bleed being I'm out of the intermediate range at WOT. I also asked them about running the Renegade RM K-16 Drag Elite fuel compared to running the VP Q16 in the carbs. They told me they are very similar and I should be good to go. Thanks...... |
