I talked to a guy that pulled one out and put it on the dyno and it made 1100.

Wow, Amazing!! Without additional information, I would be inclined to suggest that your contact has either an extremely serious dynomometer calibration problem, a typographic error in data reported to you, a quite significant "error" in the data he/she has chosen to present to you. Or, (and this would be amazing!) he/she has figured out how to defy the laws of thermodynamics, in which case I would love to meet your friend without further delay, and the adult beverages commensurate with the conversation are entirely on me.
