National event quota

I might have missed this, but how do they come up with Stk/Ss quota's for these events? One is 55 cars than 50 cars? tks

That is up from the 45 cars NHRA first posted ,you come up with Stk/Ss quotas for nationals to drive the racers to the points races,and oh! by the way its called thin out the old, still working, fixed income, etc, racers,and an added benefit you help a number of racers to sell out and at the same time devalue their race cars .
