Like Ed said, if it has stock diameter journals, not big block, not metric, it should go in the block and rotate.
I would expect it to have much more lift and duration than a stock(er) cam.
What will you do for valve springs? Lifters? Rocker Arms?
What about piston to valve clearance?

Will it fit? Maybe. Will it work? You have to cover the bases.
Thanks Tom...
I have a Budd Rowe built Stocker engine been sitting around a while wrapped up. Has Pink Rods, Forged Pistons, 2 Bolt mains.

Building a 1969 Impala for Stock. Another racer suggested since it needs modern upgrades consider building a Super Stock engine. Add a SS type cam, better valve train and Intake. Does not have to be a world be a world beater but a reliable runner.

Stocker to SS. Is it just a cam and intake change?
In Stock Solid Lifters and Roller Rockers are allowed.
Replacing with Roller Lifters and Cam should be straight forward.
Correct?
