that's a fact not an assumption
Last time I checked this was a “Stock/Super Stock” page. So if you don’t like “slow” stockers maybe you should go troll another page elsewhere !!

Just how many "Kids" have you helped out or given a ride to over the years? Not counting your own.
Billy, that’s what you should be talking about and offering here not complaining about a kid and his new fast streetcar that turned off the track at the first exit. You’ve made countless passes over decades and should expect the worse when you are at a test/tune and there is a kid in a Street Car in the other lane who doesn’t have a fraction of your experience and quite possibly it was his first time down a dragstrip.

Ya know Ed, you're right for once. When I get done with this weekend, I'll start a thread exclusively pertaining to how we "old poops" can attract young people to our sport. I expect that you'll participate in a positive manner?
But just one more thing about my "complaining", if it keeps one Racer (possibly even your son) from getting hurt or worse then my posting this thread will have been worth it.

Billy, I’m right more often than not and if you open your ears and eyes, observing what I know and what I do at the track, you’ll find yourself coming to this conclusion all on your own and after which you’ll be agreeing with me here more often than not. That said, I’m all about promoting what we do and helping the kids be successful. Done for now, heading to the beach to enjoy another perfect day in Maui with my family.

Now that right there is the silliest (I can use other words but I won't) most arrogant thing you've ever said on this site.
At what point in time do you douse yourself in gas, light yourself on fire and start screaming "Look at me, Look at me"?
Thanks Ed but I think that I'll just stick to the way I've been doing things for the past 45 odd years. I've done OK.
Maybe some day we can compare Wallys.

Yep, Billy even helped this kid, so he could run the original Class Nationals. Even went to Ohio to pick the car up when I was moving out West.
But, some folks are so completely full of themselves all the time, that they don't notice stuff like this.
You know, the proverbial Legend in Their Own Mind type . :-(

That's exactly what my home track (Edgewater Sports Park) did back in the '80s. I still have a copy. I will dig it out & post a pic later.
