The winner of the Saturday evening Clay Jones memorial $5000 to win combo was Ricky Decker. He defeated Jason Clark in the final. The lone semi finalist was Johnnie Raikes.

Due to rain yesterday everybody gets some Memorial Day bonus racing...which is set to resume 9:00 AM Central....thanks Warren and Don Kennedy and all the sponsors! We get to enjoy our day and freedoms due to our servicemen. All gave some, some gave all.

For those unfamiliar with Beech Bend Park, it is owned by Dallas Jones and family. His son Clay owned a trucking co. but was also involved in the parks operation. He was a huge proponent of Stock/Superstock racing and was very hands on at the track. Clay could be seen on the starting line, driving the tractor or up in the tower. To say he was a wonderful person would be an understatement.
