The comellas focus on the indy hemi challenge

Here's a tale from 1969 Regarding Chuck and his Hemi Dart:
I was taking a time trial in our k/sa '60 Impala at E.S.T.A. Safety Park in

Cicero, NY. I was 16 yrs. old. I left on the green and Chuck just sat there for a bit. He launched and went around me about 1,000 ft. like I was in park. That big old car of ours(my Dad too) just shook from that Hemi flying by. He ran in the low/ mid 10's, I ran 14.0 on a 13.20 national record. I still remember that after 50 plus years. It's still a great memory.
I wish Chuck and his son the best this weekend. Safe racing everyone.
