609 observed crankshaft HP @ 130 MPH @ a 29.10 baro, but I believe he went faster than 130 MPH

Any idea what the torque figure would be??

I know its over 600 TQ corrected, my question would be: how far does this engine carry HP past peak? For those not familiar with this combination.

1. Big bore 4.350 + 3.912 stroke
2. 13.3 compression
3. 2.125 Intake valve
4. .490 lift cam, utilizing which I'am sure is over 270 CFM @ 28 inches or more, with excellent low lift flow.
5. I would assume spin tron development as well.
4. 800 + CFM carb

Not to diminish the performance, because 131 MPH in a 29.10 baro @ 3635 is mind boggling in these conditions. Nice work!

That means in cold weather that is potentially a 9.50 Car !

This combination has to use the smaller q jet.The 455 Buicks did not get the bigger one till 1971.
