I would rather see it on the bottom than the top
for the thinner side.

My big blocks are thicker than that by .030/.040.

I think you would be fine with a filled block at that dimension.

Sometimes my filled blocks leaked better after they had been
reringed once....But they were still decent the first time.

Does anyone know if it is legal to put 4 bolt main cap in?
The type I'm looking at bolt through the side of the block.

Nope!

Really not needed in a Mopar 440 at this
power level in my opinion.
