I kinda of like Decals, BUT does a racer get paid for having the decal on the car all the time at every race all year long? The racer is advertising for the product not just for one race when he wins is a sore subject for me .We advertise for the product all the time but only get paid one time if we win and then it is a hassle to get the money
.

we must be doing something wrong because we have a stack of contingency sponsor checks from the 3 finals my son has been in so far this season, waiting to be deposited, with more on the way from his win at Maple Grove.

My biggest regret this week, is that Ed O'Brien is no longer with us, so he could get amnesty and a reprieve too. Say what you will, but at least he was an entertaining guy.

You can afford to race when you lose - so the choice is simple you can afford to race when you win.
Either way without decals the cost is the same - a pittance in contingency money - because of the hassles - it makes it a personal preference on the look of the car - not money. We run a few - ones without proof of recent purchase - if the product is good and lasts - why require me to spend more money than the contingency amount - to get paid. We won class recently and received money from all but one - I was told that it was a mistake by NHRA - and they did not need to pay - the others did because they are stupid I guess. This particular sponsor should have paid $100 - maybe as a good will gesture but they did not - after all we had only just spent $1600 with them. Ron

![]() Isn't 1320racer a .90 racer? - why is he continually on the stock/superstock site? - wasn't he banned from classracer for causing trouble a few months ago? Does he just need a new audience to brag to?? |
