Not really its the opposite effect. Some of the local racers to the area get locked out because they don't or cant get enough grade points to get in the field. Now it seems you have to run at least 2 out of division races to get enough grade points to be able to get in any of the more popular national events. I believe the home division racers should get some preferential treatment with regard to grade points and entry. Just doesn't make sense to have someone from traveling New York taking the place of a guy that is 100 mile from the track. The economy is good right now and fuel costs are not as bad as they were several years ago so more guys are traveling. Overall the quotas are too low for Stock and super stock.

Anybody who saw how lousy I drove at the Phoenix divisional has got to be saying "That old fat guy stunk up the place in that purple Mopar.....I should drop out of Super Stock at Pomona and give him a chance to redeem himself". If you find yourself feeling sorry for the old guy just text or call me a Nine Oh Nine Four Three 8 1345.
I promise I couldn't be any worse........ |
