Default Precision shifter issue

Have precision 3-speed co2 assisted shifter that will not shift from 2nd to high gear. For some reason it won't release plunger/stop so it will shift to high gear. It does fine during burnout when I start burnout in 2nd. It also works fine when I hit the test button on co2 line. Test button allows you to check wiring, plumbing on shifter without having to go live. It acts like the co2 pressure is keeping shifter up against the stop. I can pull shifter back maybe 1/8" and it will release and allow me to go to high gear. Can't manually go to high gear if 1-2 shift was co2 assisted. Can go manually from 1-2 and 2-3 without co2. I lowered line pressure from 95 to 80psi with same result. Side note, ss'er was last run at Atlanta and shifter worked fine even though we broke trans. I was testing last night prior to going to Rockingham next weekend.

Not enough pressure...crank it up, not down.

Like Fred said, crank up the pressure.

Make sure the shifter cable is adjusted properly . I adjust mine on the 1st gear detent . This will make sure the detent in the transmission matches the detent in the shifter .

Thanks guys. Doubled checked linkage and increased pressure to 120psi and it works in the yard on a low rpm chip.

I don't know what kind of controller you have, but first make sure the duration of the shift isn't overwhelming. The pressure has to shove, then relax so the pin can fall and let the shifter get ready for the next shift. Sounds like its bound up to me, not letting it relax.
