Totally disagree with running down to only 2 cars on Saturday night.

Its not worth the price of NHRA's tickets for admission any more !

I think that two pairs on Sunday is fine.. That's all that the fuel zombies will see anyway, as they exit the stands.

I thought NHRA likes to say that every ticket is a pit pass.

Like most race venues don't expect packed grandstands anywhere soon. NHRA and your local tracks have to wake up that they're competing for consumer dollars and they have a lot of competition for that same dollar. Here you need someone with balls that would say "Hey no one is coming to see my show anymore, what can i do to improve it? #1 LOWER THE PRICE OF YOUR TICKET! would be a good start, you will make it up in sales of food and drinks(have the vendor split for a better % or just take it over completely. Instead of giving your TV rights for zero dollars to please sponsorship of some racers broadcast it on your own channel(cheaper than you think) You need someone with vision, NHRA is on it's way out very soon if they don't change. How about having a FWD class only to get the new blood in (These are the car they drive now)Fan who attend now on Saturday and Sunday are there only to see the Fuel clowns Maybe bring betting on sportsman races? They have to lower their prices, maybe institute a cheap seat price or a free day for all family of ten(grand-parents price) something to help us. I don't attend races anymore because the price is too high. I use to attend 4 races a year(2 Divisional and 2 nationals) I only went to see stock&super stock, competition eliminator,S.G, S.C. S/St but now forget it. Even my local track cannot understand that they have to lower their prices for fan, they will make it up in food and beverages.Anyways that's my two cents.

Good Point...going to need to invite the Imports.
They get a ton of racers attending and they come with friends.

xHRA would do well opening this market up.

Jim, that's what I thought as well. Brought some service members and their families, good thing I still had room on my charge card:-)

At least my little nephew got to meet Bobby Brannon, (his dad has been deployed for a while) and he had a ball!
