I think that you guys made a great point about the "Notice Of Action" posts by the NHRA. It does kind of pile on. The penalty is also hard. I was told by Rich that his hands were tied on that. The reality is, "If you do the crime you do the time!".

On a side note. This incident should be a wakeup call to all you fast guys on a 9" tire. It might be time to rethink your finish line strategy.

We are sorry that we put a halt to racing after those guys spent so much energy getting the track dry. Gary, you also have our apologies for what was most likely a very scary moment.

Huge thanks to Chevrolet and Turn Key for building a safe car and to the safety crew for their fast response.

The car will be repaired and back in action.
