Fuel check is using a dielectric constant meter that has been zeroed against a standard such as Cyclohexane or Indolene. Typically Cyclohexane. IF it passes, ok....IF not, yer outa there regardless of what fuel you claim. That method of NHRA fuel check has been in place for many decades.
Now I heard that if you used some 1,4 dioxane.......well, that is another story. LOL

1,4 dioxane acts like an ether. It will pass the fuel check ?

Why do fuels change one day as legal!
Later does not pass?
What fuel blends tend to fail the most?

I have had great luck with VP passing . I buy the five gallon cans and they always pass, even if they sit for a year.

If you don’t have a fuel cell in your car, do yourself a favor and put one in. I think a stock tank would allow more of the fuel to evaporate and that is a problem if the car sits a bit between races. Sure you can drain it out and re seal it if you want. Fuel cell is safer as well

Fuel Cell....hmm

Got an 8 gallon tank made to replace the stock tank.
Is there an advantage to having a fuel cell.

I like the having a big trunk to keep stuff in.
Will a fuel cell fit where the stock tank is?

I have had trouble with Sunoco failing fuel check. All out of the same 5 gallon can I bought from Sunoco at the track that weekend. Pass one time, failed next pass.
VP C11 has always passed for me.
