The car count is down about 20 cars in stock from previous years. Stock is running at gainsville. I think the fuel cost and the rediculous schedule ( too many races too close together )May account for some of the short car count. I was really surprised to see the low count at No Problem. They are known as a racers track. Hopefully the division directors and track operators will take notice and make some adjustments to the schedule.

$4.099 a gal for Diesel here in eastern PA. .... If it keeps going up I can't see it not hurting car counts at some of the more distant races.....Tom

I just got back from a road trip to Seattle WA and back to SOCAL.

Deisel fuel here is $3.89 to $4.00, Oregon seemed to run around $3.45 to $3.55 give or take
and WA was priced similar to here in SOCAL.

On the morning news yesterday I saw a small town in Nor. Cal selling GAS for $5.19. I believe the towns name is Gorda!

Here in Bridgeport, Ct. 87 octane is 3.259 and diesel is 4.059.

seems like a couples years ago diesel was .25 cents below 87 octane, now diesel is .60 cents above 87 octane. wonder why?
