The Stock world champion’s car is an LT-1 powered ‘98 Firebird.

She can drive and the car is fast but the LT-1’s have been hit many times with HP putting them at a disadvantage to some other traditional older cars and some new combos.

The LT-1 benefitted from a low HP factor for years and could dominate classes. There not slow by any means but the HP factor today makes it tough.

That’s for aluminum headed combos. I know nothing about the iron headed versions.
I raced one for a couple seasons.
